May 3, 1791, the four-year parliament, called "the great", passed the first in Europe and second in the world, after the U.S.the Constitution, which was reborn declining Poland. It has passed into the history under the name of "the Constitution of the third of may," becoming a symbol of the idea of the independence of the Polish nation.
