Now I find from Wookieepedia that: "Umbara was a shadowy planet within the reaches of the Ghost Nebula. It was home to the Umbarans, a race of pale near-Humans. It was part of the Republic from that government's earliest days.
The founder of the New Sith Empire, Darth Ruin, was an Umbaran, and Umbara may have been a founding world of that Empire." Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones came out in 2002, and I think this Umbara stuff was in that.
