I was listening to the music of Ronnie Lane, of "The Small Faces", and "The Faces". I noticed he used the D to Em progression in some of his songs, which I like. So this tune is kind of a tribute to the late Mr. Lane.
If there are other Ronnie Lane fans out there, try to find "The Passing Show", a documentary about his life. Very good film.
