I Pop

by Azer Mantessa

Originally I wrote this song based on Baroque Chord Progressions. While I was searching ideas for the melodies, my son strummed his guitar based on a pop song. I noticed that one good thing about pop is that you don't have to worry much on the melodies. This gave me an idea of strumming a guitar the pop way but on baroque chords. It was quite chaotic in the beginning until I decided to speed up the whole thing and moved some chords closer to each other. The strumming guitar then yield some kind of funky play and I thought it was cool. I then added the clapping drums and the synth sawtooth to do the pop trick. I guess I popped this one. It could have been a nice baroque song though :-)
